Telephone canvassing at CCHQ

Canvassing, both in person and by telephone, is vital in politics to ascertain which voters may support our party. Telephone cavassing can be done by people from home and also in London from Conservative Campaign Headquarters. The CMF holds regular telephone canvassing sessions, and CMF members also attend on other dates to assist with canvassing.

On 30 April 2014 CMF Executive members Ash Zaman and Hashim Bhatti attended Conservative Campaign Headquarters to help with the canvassing. Senior members of the Party also do the same, so after the session was over they had their picture taken with the Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.

Ash Zaman is on the left of the picture, Hashim Bhatti on the right.
